Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 4, 2026
klang-guide ("we", "us") operates klangguide.com and its associated blog. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and you can leave at any time.
1. Information we collect
- Email address โ only if you voluntarily subscribe (for example, to receive our free PDF guide or article updates). Managed through MailerLite, our email service provider.
- Usage data โ standard, anonymous analytics such as pages visited, approximate location (country level), browser type, and referring site. Collected via cookies and similar technologies.
- Messages you send us โ if you email us, we keep the correspondence to reply to you.
2. How we use it
- To deliver what you asked for (the free PDF, article updates).
- To understand which articles help learners most, so we can write better ones.
- To respond to your messages.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
3. Email & unsubscribing
Our emails are sent via MailerLite. Every email includes an unsubscribe link; one click removes you permanently. We use double opt-in, so you'll never be subscribed without confirming it yourself.
4. Advertising & affiliate links
We may display advertising served by third parties such as Google AdSense. These providers may use cookies to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
Some articles contain affiliate links (for example, to books or language-learning services). If you purchase through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend resources we consider genuinely useful, and affiliate relationships never change what we write.
5. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We and our service providers use them for analytics and advertising as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
6. Data retention & your rights
Subscriber data is kept only while you remain subscribed. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing rsl.2001.1975@gmail.com. If you are in the EU/EEA, you additionally have the rights provided by the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. Children
This site is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will be noted to subscribers by email.
