Ambiguous, unclear, sitting in an emotional or situational in-between
Used for feelings and facts alike — 'do I like them or not? 애매하다' works exactly the same way as 'is this due Monday or Tuesday? 애매하다'. It's the word for genuinely not being able to tell.
